The way that I see it is that it seems to be working well if they haven't changed it yet. The way that it has been is that if they want to serve it then they must accept what the rules say. So far the judges have served for life and this has been on their own decisions. All I can say is that if they want the job then they get what has been going on for the hundreds of years that it has been there.
